I know that OEM parts can be ridiculously high priced! I was thinking more along the lines of used parts scrounged from salvage yards. I know of a couple motorcycle graveyards in my general area, but I would like to know what to look for before venturing out on a wild goose chase.
The reason I would like to move the gauges is not for appearance sake, but for safety. I find that I have to drop my head significantly just to check my speed. So I either use guess-timates or move the speedo where I can comfortably and safely see it.
